Mildura

We have just spent 3 nights in Mildura, had a good look around, done some cycling & been on a riverboat cruise. Tomorrow we continue South. This afternoon we were talking about the many weather conditions we have experienced since leaving. First we had torrential rain, which then resulted in flooding which trapped us in Woody Head for a week, we arrived at Lake Cargelligo to gale force winds & overcast skies, Mildura gave us one day at 35degrees & the next day at 36 degrees, this afternoon we had howling winds & a dust storm straight off the desert& then a sudden 10 degree drop in temperature. Sue thinks the only thing left is a snow fall, which would not surprise us at all.

Sunset after the dust storm, with the air clear again.

The original fountain from the grand Chaffey mansion, moved here after the drowning death of a child.
A replica was built back at the original location.
